Mojca "Mo" Herman has been swimming since she was 2 years old. She has always loved the water and everything related to swimming. Mojca has been teaching children swimming since 1986. Mojca grew up in Toronto, Canada and represented Canada in the 1988 Olympic Games in the 200m butterfly. She came to the United States to train for the olympic trials. She enjoyed being in the United States so much that she decided to stay. She subsequently attended USC on an athletic scholorship and earned a masters degree in Occupational Therapy.

She now is a certified hand therapist and owns her own therapy clinic, Advanced Therapy Center (located in Torrance, CA) , specializing in the rehabilitation of injuries of the upper extremity. At her clinic they exclusively treat injuries of the hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder.
